Young Reserve Officers Outreach Seminar

Tämän kansainvälisen tapahtuman hakuprosessi avataan tammikuussa 2026. RUL valitsee lähtijät hakemusten perusteella. Hakijan on oltava RUL:n jonkin paikallisyhdistyksen jäsen, 35-vuotias tai sitä nuorempi, sotilasarvo voi olla korkeintaan kapteeni.

Seminar

Young Reserve Officers Outreach Seminar provides junior officers an international forum both to inform and in which to debate military and reserve issues along with leadership skills/perspective development.

Participants are placed into multinational syndicates, allowing for free flow discussions, which enable the participants to develop close working relationships and an understanding of different national perspectives. The program value lies in the exchange of information, as well as learning to compromise and diplomacy. The seminar will provide young reservists with a working introduction to the NATO alliance including the role of the reservist, National Reserve Force structures and challenges of Reserve forces. Participants will gain an understanding of the spectrum of global geopolitical tensions, interactions, national perceptions, and relationships in an international environment.

This year the seminar will be held in Romania and will include a field trip.
